During the power outage, Ramon will just be huddled up in his room, under the covers, clutching a flashlight to his chest. It's not turned on. Not yet. He's aware that conserving battery power is probably a good idea.

What is it about nighttime blackouts that don't let you sleep until you know the power's back on?

When night finally rolls around and St. John has apparently given up on tossing Ramon's belongings (or Ramon himself) out into the hall for now, the tall kid figures that that means this is where he's bedding down. At least for tonight.
